※子ども（5歳以下）は無料です。
※学生はフルタイム（大学院生も含む）の学生に限ります。
※ビュッフェ代とソフトドリンクは参加費に含まれています。

9月9日（土）、ピッツバーグ日本協会主催のピクニックが行われました。今年もピッツバーグ市内にあるシェンリーパークのアイススケート施設内パビリオンにて開催し、77名(会員44名、新会員19名、非会員14名)の方々にお越しいただきました。

空調の効いた屋内会場にて、チキンやリブ、ピザ、中華料理、スナック類、すいか、飲み物（ビールを含む）等の食べ物をみんなでおいしくいただきました。今年も小さいお子様がたくさん参加され、すいか割りが大盛況でした。

今年は新たな企画として、ピッツバーグについてのトリビアを出題するクイズ大会を行い、こちらも大変盛り上がりました。ギフトカードなどの豪華賞品を提供してくださった茶屋様、ありがとうございました。

参加してくださって皆様、準備や片付けなどのお手伝いをしていただいた皆様、誠にありがとうございました。また食材の調達、公園の予約など準備をしていただいた方々に心より感謝申し上げます。

 

The annual JAGP Picnic was held on Saturday, September 9, at Ice Skating Rink pavilion in Schenley Park. 77 people participated in the event including 19 new members and 14 guests.

We ate a variety of foods such as fried chickens, pork ribs, pizza, chinese food, salad, sandwich, and we watched kids breaking open watermelons (suika-wari).

This year, we had a trivia quiz competition for the first time, sponsored by Chaya. It was a great fun too.

Thank you for coming, and we appreciate the volunteers who grilled and prepared the food, and the people who reserved the park and helped to organize the picnic.

日本協会では、今年も以下の通りピクニックを企画致しました。食べ物や飲み物を用意して、皆様と有意義な時間を過ごせることを楽しみにしておりますので、皆様お誘い合わせの上、ぜひご参加ください。

日時　　：　2017年9月9日（土）午後1時～午後4時頃まで

場所　　：　Ice Rink pavilion　(Schenley park)

対象　　：　会員の方は参加費無料。

非会員の方はDonationをお願い致します。

（12歳以上＝10ドル、4歳以上12歳未満＝5ドル、3歳以下＝なし）

※当日会員になることも可能です。その場合、年会費のみで参加費は無料になります。

申込書はこちらで準備しておきますので、会費を小切手、または現金でご持参ください。

（年会費：家族＄40、個人＄30、学生＄20）

食べ物　：　ケイタリングで、BBQチキンや肉、中華、 ピザ、すいか、飲み物（ビールを含む）等を準備する予定です。

※この他、皆さんと一緒に食べたい物があれば、各自ご持参ください。

※今年もお子様に大人気のすいか割りを行う予定です。

◎食材の準備、場所の予約等の関係、また今年は場所が屋内ということで、雨天決行の予定です。

◎参加される方は、食べ物を注文するのに人数把握が必要なため、こちらのフォームから代表者と人数をご連絡ください。

 

◎駐車場所

※会場の近くの駐車場（駐車場１）は荷物搬送、ケータリング、公園課職員などが使用するので、そちらは使わず、駐車場２をご利用ください。

Nonmembers will be asked for donation.  ($10 – over 12years old     $5 – under 12 years old to over 4years old      $0 – under 3years old )

*It is available to become a member at the picnic day.  Please bring a check or cash for the annual fee, we will have the application.  The annual fee is $40 for family member, $30 for individual member and $20 for full-time student.

メンバーシップ更新のお願い

今年もメンバーシップ更新の時期になりました。今年一年間ピッツバーグ日本協会をご支援いただきまして誠にありがとうございました。来年も皆様のご期待に沿ってより良い会にしていきたいと存じますので、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
メンバーシップは毎年1月から12月までとして会費を納めていただいております。今年も12月末日に皆様のメンバーシップが切れますので、お早めに更新してくださいますようお願いいたします。（今年のピクニック（9月17日）以降に入会された方は、有効期限が2017年12月までですので、今回の更新は不要です。）
つきましては、更新申込書と会費（家族＄40・個人＄30・学生＄20）を2017年1月31日までにピッツバーグ日本協会事務局（上記郵送先）までお送り下さい。2017年1月31日までに 更新書の返送がない場合は、退会と見なされて、日 本協会のメーリングリストや名簿から削除させていただきます。但し、ピッツバーグ日本協会の入会、更新はいつでも受け付けていますので、1月31日を過ぎ て、本年度の入会、更新をしてくださった方は、その時点で改めてメーリングリストや4月までなら名簿にもお名前を追加いたします。また更新の際に、ピッツバーグ日本協会に対する要望等ありましたら、お書き下さい。メンバーシップ更新についてのお問い合わせもピッツバーグ日本協会事務局（Pittsburghjagp@gmail.com）までご連絡下さい。

9月17日（土）、ピッツバーグ日本協会主催のピクニックが行われました。今年は例年のフォックスチャペルからピッツバーグ市内にあるシェンリーパークのアイススケート施設内パビリオンへと場所を変えました。昨年を大幅に上回る82名(会員50名、新会員15名、非会員17名)の方々にお越しいただきました。

空調の効いた屋内会場にて、チキンやリブ、ピザ、パエリア、サラダ、サンドイッチ、 すいか、飲み物（ビールを含む）等の食べ物をみんなでおいしくいただきました。今年も小さいお子様がたくさん参加され、すいか割りが大盛況でした。4つ用意したスイカはあっという間になくなりました。

参加してくださって皆様、お手伝いいただいた皆様、誠にありがとうございました。また食材の調達、公園の予約など準備をしていただいた方々に心より感謝申し上げます。
