7月17日(水)、18日(木) 加藤拓三さん太鼓演奏会開催のお知らせ

早急のお知らせになりますが、明日7月17日(水)、明後日18日(木)、太鼓奏者加藤拓也氏とその御子息の演奏会がそれぞれ2ヶ所で講演されます。其々担当の方々(市原、本山、安澤、高野(敬称略))からのご連絡により、以下の通りお知らせします。

演奏者: 加藤拓三さん(CA州在住 岐阜県恵那市出身)

日時 : 7月17日(水)
 10:45~11:00 加藤さんの紹介(Hunt room)
11:00~11:30 太鼓演奏(聖堂)

場所 : Church of the Ascension Pittsburgh

演奏のみ、途中からの参加も歓迎です。

駐車場は聖堂の駐車場が利用できますが、現在工事中のためスペースが大変限られておりますので、N Neville Stを挟んだ聖堂真向かいの駐車場(添付地図)をご利用ください。

加藤氏は2008年に和太鼓界では世界最高峰とされる「東京国際和太鼓コンテスト・大太鼓部門」で最優秀賞を受賞し、国体での御前演奏や総理官邸での演奏経験がある加藤拓三さんが、全米50州での1000回の演奏会を目標に演奏旅行中ですが、この度Pittsburghでも演奏会を開催することとなりました。

参加無料ですので、皆様お誘い合わせの上、是非ご参加ください。チケット代は無料ですが、会場にはドネーションボックスを設置させていただきますので、皆様のご協力を賜われれば幸いです。

Takuzo Kato’s Taiko Concerts on July 17 (Wed.) and 18 (Thu.)

This is an urgent notice to inform you that Mr. Takuya Kato, a taiko drummer, and his son will give lectures at two different venues tomorrow, July 17 (Wed.) and the day after tomorrow, July 18 (Thu.). The following information was provided by the people in charge of these events (Ichihara, Motoyama, Yasuzawa, Takano (honorifics omitted)).

Performer: Mr. Takuzo Kato (from Ena City, Gifu Prefecture, CA)

Date and Time : July 17 (Wednesday)

                 10:45-11:00 Introduction of Mr. Kato (Hunt room)

                 11:00-11:30 Drum performance (Church of the Ascension)

Venue : Church of the Ascension Pittsburgh

            4729 Ellsworth Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15213

All are welcome to attend the performance only or join in the middle of the performance.

Parking is available in the cathedral parking lot, but space is very limited due to current construction.

Takuzo Kato, who won the grand prize in the “Tokyo International Wadaiko Contest Odaiko Division,” the world’s most prestigious taiko competition in 2008, and has performed at the National Athletic Meet and at the Prime Minister’s Office, is currently on a performance tour with the goal of performing 1,000 concerts in all 50 states in the US, and he will be holding a concert in Pittsburgh He will be holding a concert in Pittsburgh as well.

The concert is free of charge, so please come and join us. There is no charge for tickets, but we will have a donation box at the venue, and we would appreciate your cooperation.
